Jordan records 10 deaths and 608 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 10 deaths and 608 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 319,519.

The death toll has risen to 4,217.

The cases are:

-294 in Amman

-95 in Irbid, including 23 in Ramtha

-94 in Balqa

-20 in Karak

-Nine in Zarqa

-Six in Aqaba

-One in Tafilah

-60 in Mafraq

-16 in Ajloun

-Eight in Madaba

-Five in Jerash

-Zero in Ma'an

A total of 41 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 24 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,056 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,250 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 306,246.

There are 396 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 13,019 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,691,350.

Saturday, 4.67 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
