Jordan records nine deaths and 730 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded nine deaths and 730 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 318,911.

The death toll has risen to 4,207. 

The cases are:

-407 in Amman

-161 in Irbid, including nine in Ramtha

-58 in Zarqa

-20 in Balqa

-12 in Jerash

-eight in Ajloun

-three in Madaba

-24 in Karak

-19 in Mafraq

-11 in Tafilah

-seven in Aqaba

-zero in Ma'an

A total of 41 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 62 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,708 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 796 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 304,996.

There are 391 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 18,372 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,678,331.

Friday, 3.97 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
