Friday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, said that the security services in Egypt managed to free a Jordanian citizen who was kidnapped.

Al-Fayez added that a complaint reached the Jordanian embassy in Cairo from the families of the Jordanian citizen stating that their son had been kidnapped in Egypt.

He pointed out that the embassy contacted the Egyptian authorities and informed them of the kidnapping incident, so that the Egyptian authorities would investigate and search for the man.

Egyptian authorities were able to arrest the kidnappers and free the Jordanian citizen, pointing out that the citizen is in good health.
