Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD) Hussein Hawatmeh and the US ambassador to Jordan Henry Wooster discussed ways to enhance joint security cooperation Thursday.

During the meeting, Hawatmeh spoke about Jordan's "deep-rooted, strategic" relationship with the US when it comes to enhancing security and peace. He also expressed the Kingdom's appreciation for their continued cooperation, which involves technical support and security training.

Wooster praised the PSD's continuous efforts to improve and modernize by integrating new technology to combat crime. He also stressed the importance of the relationship between the two countries and expressed the willingness to establish new cooperation channels.
