Jordan records 11 deaths and 776 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 11 deaths and 776 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 318,181.

The death toll has risen to 4,198.

The cases are:

-413 in Amman

-185 in Irbid, including 53 in Ramtha

-54 in Balqa

-31 in Zarqa

-29 in Mafraq

-19 in Ajloun

-15 in Jerash

-12 in Madaba

-nine in Aqaba

-five in Karak

-four in Ma'an, including one in Petra

- zero in Tafilah

A total of 46 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 44 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,783 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,092 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 304,200.

There are 422 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 20,409PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,659,959.

Thursday, 3.80 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
