According to Johns Hopkins University and Bloomberg data Saturday, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide has reached 94,166,933.

Additionally, the virus has claimed the lives of 2,015,631 individuals so far.

The five countries most affected by the pandemic according to the latest Worldometers data are:

  1. USA with a total of 24,306,043 cases and 405,261 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic (active cases: 9,557,138)
  2. India with a total of 10,558,710 cases and 152,311 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic (active cases: 209,514)
  3. Brazil with a total of 8,456,705 cases and 209,350 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic (active cases: 858,571)
  4. Russia with a total of 3,554,623 and 209,350 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic (active cases: 542,547)
  5. UK with a total of 3,357,361 and 88,590 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic (active cases: 1,749,665)
