Saturday, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that a Ma’an civil defense team and a Jordanian search and rescue team managed to rescue two individuals of Arab nationality after they fell into an empty water well in the Shobak area of Ma’an.

The two individuals were conducting maintenance works.

The team was able to reach them by using ropes and ladders designated for such accidents. The two men were taken out and are suffering from non life-threatening wounds and bruises on various parts of their bodies.

Ambulance teams worked to provide the necessary first aid to the injured and transported them to the Ma'an Governmental Hospital.
