Friday, the Assistant Secretary General of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care Affairs, Ghazi Sharkas said that there are groups that need to consult their doctor before receiving the coronavirus vaccine. The groups include people with low immunity, as well as patients who receive chemotherapy and those with a previous history of severe allergies.

As for those who are excluded from receiving the vaccine in Jordan, Sharkas confirmed that pregnant and breastfeeding women are excluded from receiving it, in addition to those who are planning to get pregnant and those who are under the age of 16.

Sharkas called on the excluded groups not to register on the online platform designated to receive the vaccine.
