A security man has died Thursday evening after being hit by a live bullet from a weapon he was carrying.

According to a media spokesperson from the Public Security Directorate (PSD), a security man from the Capital Security Department was treated Thursday evening in a hospital after he was hit by a live bullet from a weapon he was carrying. The spokesperson added that the man soon died from his injuries.

The spokeperson indicated that a committee was formed to investigate the incident and determine the circumstances.
