Jordan records 15 deaths and 1,122 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 15 deaths and 1,122 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 310,968.

The death toll has risen to 4,091.

The cases are:

-420 in Amman

-321 in Irbid, including 33 in Ramtha

-82 in Mafraq

-68 in Balqa

-53 in Jerash

-44 in Karak

-20 in Ajloun

-13 in Ma'an, including four in Petra

-50 in Zarqa

-23 in Madaba

-18 in Aqaba

-10 in Tafilah

A total of 75 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 59 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 13,346 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1.427 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 293,531.

There are 462 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 26,934 PCR tests were conducted Wednesday, bringing the total to 3,490,118.

Wednesday, 4.17 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
