Tuesday, the Director of the Coronavirus Crisis Management Cell, Mazen al-Faraya said that 10,000 text messages were sent to citizens and residents Wednesday and Thursday regarding their vaccination appointments.

Faraya added that the vaccine is part of an integrated system which will lead to life going back to normal, while adhering to the rules of public safety, wearing a face mask and social distancing.

During tours of the crisis center, Faraya added that the center, in coordination with several partners such as the Ministry of Health, were working since the beginning of the pandemic to obtain vaccines for the Kingdom.

Faraya called on all citizens to register for the vaccination while indicating that the platform witnessed an increase in the number of registrants during the past 48 hours.

Notably, he added that citizens and residents are able to contact call centers if they are unable to register electronically.

He stressed that crisis management communicates with all vaccination centers in Jordan, indicating that there is constant monitoring of the organization to ensure the progress of the process.
