Jordan records 33 deaths and 1,176 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 33 deaths and 1,176 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 309,846.

The death toll has risen to 4,076.

The cases are:

-477 in Amman

-250 in Irbid, including 12 in Ramtha

-108 in Balqa

-76 in Zarqa

-26 in Karak

-25 in Aqaba

-15 in Madaba

-105 in Mafraq

-40 in Jerash

-25 in Ajloun

-16 in Tafilah

-13 in Ma'an, including four in Petra

A total of 59 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 71 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 13,666 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,674 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 292,104.

There are 461 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 24,238 PCR tests were conducted Tuesday, bringing the total to 3,463,184.

Tuesday, 4.85 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
