Jordan records 19 deaths and 1,461 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 19 deaths and 1,461 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 308,670.

The death toll has risen to 4,043.

The cases are:

-505 in Amman

-431 in Irbid, including 46 in Ramtha

-107 in Zarqa

-89 in Mafraq

-49 in Ajloun

-30 in Tafilah

-16 in Aqaba

-101 in Balqa

-60 in Jerash

-38 in Madaba

-21 in Karak

-14 in Ma'an, including three in Petra

A total of 64 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 67 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 14,197 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,645 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 290,430.

There are 506 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 27,279 PCR tests were conducted Monday, bringing the total to 3,438,946.

Monday, 5.36 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
