JFDA launches online platform to report COVID-19 vaccine side effects

The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Monday launched an online platform to report COVID-19 vaccine side effects.

The JFDA stressed that it continues to work on providing effective and safe medicines. The administration called on citizens to report any side effects that occur after getting vaccinated against coronavirus.

Citizens who report side effects are asked to provide additional information such as their gender, age, height, weight, which vaccine they received, the date of the first dose and the health status of the patient prior to receiving the first dose of the vaccine.

The platform lists several side effects to choose from including severe allergies, shortness of breath, nausea, swelling at the injection site, high temperature, joint pain, chills, muscle pain, headache, fatigue and pain at the injection site.
