Six people were injured due to a 10-vehicle pileup in the Mastaba area on the Irbid-Amman Road Monday morning.

A security source said that traffic officers and civil defense personnel rushed to the scene and transported all those who were hurt to the Jerash Governmental Hospital. All those who were injured are in moderate health condition, he added.

The source pointed out that the multiple vehicle collision was due to the lack of safe separation distances between cars. The collission resulted in extreme traffic congestion afterwards.
