Citizens Sunday took to social media to share videos of one of Jordan's biggest snowstorms that happened seven years ago on this very weekend in 2013. The snowstorm covered most governorates across the Kingdom in white. 

The snowstorm resulted in road blocks across most regions, with all governmental and public institutions suspending operations. 

While such weather conditions are not expected this week, Arabia Weather Monday predicted heavy snowfall in the mountains in the third week of January in the Levant region.

The Director of Operations at Arabia Weather Osama al-Tarifi has previously said that it will be a snowy winter for Jordan.
