The Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat Sunday said when the vaccine arrives in Jordan, the government will prioritize citizens over the age of 60 with underlying health issues and public health workers over the age of 40.

During an interview with Roya's Nabd Albalad, he said after those groups are vaccinated, the vaccine will be given to elderly citizens over the age of 60 who do not suffer from chronic diseases and then the rest of the population.

The minimum age for receiving the coronavirus vaccine in Jordan is 16, he added. Obeidat stressed that there is no way to discriminate between citizens in administering the COVID-19 vaccine.
