Saturday, the Ministry of Health provided five medical caravans for the purpose of expanding PCR testing to detect the coronavirus in several areas of Tafilah, according to the Director of Health Affairs in Tafilah, Khaled Al-Khawaldeh.

Khawaldeh said that nine epidemics investigation teams have been assigned to assist within these medical caravans in order to limit the spread of infections among citizens.

The caravans are equipped with laboratory and medical supplies for PCR tests and are located in the comprehensive and subsidiary health centers in Qadisiyah, Busayra, Ain Al-Bayda, Kasbah Tafilah and Al-Hasa.

Khawaldeh called on citizens, in the event that any symptoms of the virus appear, to report to these health centers to obtain PCR tests and any required health services while abiding by health measures.

Additionally, he called on citizens to get tested in the governorates laboratory which was recently established in Jaber Al-Ansari Health Center, Tafilah in the event that the caravans become crowded.
