His Majesty King Abdullah II won the title of Personality of the Year 2020, based on a poll conducted by Russia Today. The king received 6,509,430 votes out of a total of 12,490,331, which is 52.4 percent.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed came second, securing 44.8 percent of the vote. In third place was Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi with 1.3 percent of the total votes.

Russia Today's poll began on Dec. 7, 2020 and ended at midnight on Dec. 31st.
