Jordan records 19 deaths and 1,427 coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 19 deaths and 1,427 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 294,494.

The death toll has risen to 3,834.

The cases are:

-473 in Amman

-330 in Irbid, including 50 in Ramtha

-124 in Zarqa

-130 in Mafraq

-88 in Balqa

-63 in Karak

-36 in Aqaba

-16 in Tafilah

-67 in Madaba

-48 in Ajloun

-36 in Jerash

-16 in Ma'an, including four in Petra

A total of 113 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 87 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 20,109 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,708 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 270,551.

There are 732 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 23,430 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 3,175,555.

Thursday, 6.09 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
