The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply Thursday sent an official letter to the Jordan Chamber of Commerce to be circulated to all establishments in Jordan. It called for compliance with defense orders and preventing gatherings of all forms in markets, malls and supermarkets. It also reiterated the need to abide by public health and safety measures including social distancing, wearing facemasks and curfew hours.

Those who do not comly will be subject to penalties based on defense orders and facility closures of the facility for a period of 14 days. The letter was issued after the ministry came acrocc crowding in the markets and stores during the holiday season.
