Thursday, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) returned the body of a deceased Palestinian man, Maher Ibrahim Zaatarah 10 months after his death.

Zaatarah’s body was handed over to his family in the town of Jabal Mukaber, Jerusalem. He was shot by the IOF Feb. 22, 2020 in the Bab Al-Asbat area in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The family of the Zaatarah buried him in the Jabal Mukaber cemetery at dawn, under conditions set by Israeli Occupation authorities and in light of the widespread security presence in the region.

Additionally, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement, that the IOF stormed, amid heavy gunfire, separate areas in the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Qalqilya and Tulkarm, and arrested the 14 citizens, claiming they were ‘wanted’.
