The Minister of Education Tayseer al-Nuaimi Tuesday said teachers are the most important component of the educational process, and that the ministry has a plan to empower and train teachers. This includes online education as it has become a requirement, not an option, for the ministry.

During his visit to a number of schools in Jerash, Nuaimi stressed the importance of cooperation in developing education in the Kingdom. Work is underway to build additional schools and add more classes.

Jerash governorate authorities emphasized the great efforts made by the Ministry of Education despite the financial challenges and expressed their appreciation. They made additional requests and explained that they are aware of the ministry's limited capabilities.

Nuaimi said the ministry will look into increasing the use of solar energy in schools in Jerash, taking into consideration the agreement signed between the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Energy.
