The Director of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Nizar Mhaidat confirmed that three international companies submitted applications to the JFDA to register their COVID-19 vaccines.

In addition to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, he said that Johnson & Johnson as well as Sinopharm have also submitted proposals to the JFDA.

The Administration is still conducting studies and will announce their final decision soon.
