Jordan confirms first two cases of new COVID-19 strain

Jordan has confirmed the first two cases of the new COVID-19 strain Sunday. The new cases were recorded among people who returned to the Kingdom from the UK.

In light of this, the Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat, said that the two cases of the new strain are from a married couple who came together from the UK Dec. 19.

He added that their current health condition is 'excellent'.

They have been isolated, he said, adding that they are being watched closely by investigation teams.
