Sunday, the ArabiaWeather website announced that the Kingdom remains affected by the extension of the so-called Siberian High, which is a massive collection of cold dry air that accumulates in the northeastern part of Eurasia from September until April.
The weather will remain cold throughout the current week in most regions of the Kingdom during the day, with temperatures dropping to becoming colder during the night, with chances of the formation of frost in some areas, especially the southern desert plains.
Winds will continue to blow east with various intensities throughout the week, with the emergence of strong winds at several intervals, especially on Sunday and Monday.
Due to the winds, the chances of dust waves may occur in some areas.
In the next two days, the strong gusts of winds will be especially prominent in Shifa Ghoria, Ghuriyya regions and the Dead Sea.
Additionally, the chances of rain will increase in several areas on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the received weather forecasts, there are preliminary indications that some regions of the Kingdom will be affected by a state of weather instability between Wednesday and Thursday, which may lead to thunderstorms in some areas, especially in the southern and eastern Badia.
