Saturday, the Head of the Respiratory Research Department at the Blessing Health Care Center in the United States, Hammam Al-Farah told Roya that there is no recommendation to take the antibody test before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Farah added that people who are allergic to any type of vaccines should not receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Regarding the new strain of COVID-19, Farah said that it is 70 percent more transmissible. However, he stressed that the Pfizer vaccine can combat the new strain of the virus.

He called for a special examination to detect the new strain of the virus, adding that the new mutation may already be present in countries all over the world.
