Sweden confirms first case of new COVID-19 strain
Sweden confirms first case of new COVID-19 strain

Sweden recorded its first case of the new COVID-19 strain, announced the Public Health Agency of Sweden Saturday. The case involved a person who recently arrived from the UK.

Wednesday, Sweden extended the decision to suspened all flights from the United Kingdom until Dec. 31.

Earlier Saturday, France and Spain announced that a number of cases of the new strain of COVID-19 has been confirmed in both countries. France reported one case of the new strain and Spain reported four cases of it.
