Monday, Jordan announced the suspension of flights from the UK from Dec. 21 to Jan. 3.

Minister of State for Media Affairs Ali Al-Ayed said the decision came after the discovery of a new COVID-19 strain in Britain. 

More than 20 countries across the world have already suspended flights to and from the United Kingdom.
