Cold weather expected in Jordan Monday: JMD

The weather is expected to be cold across the Kingdom, however, moderate weather conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with low clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department announced Monday.

Temperatures will range between 17 degrees Celsius and nine degrees in Amman. It will be warmer in Aqaba, reaching 24 degrees Celsius during the day and 14 degrees at night.

Tuesday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.

Wednesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold air mass,  with low temperatures and partly cloudy conditions with spotty showers in various areas of the country, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD said.
