The General Directorate of Civil Defense (CDD) Tuesday rescued a person who was trapped in a rock crevice in Dahiet al-Rasheed area in Amman.

The spokesperson for the CDD said someone reported the incident to the main operations room in the North Amman Police Department.

Search and rescue teams moved to the site, pulled him out and transported him to the hospital. The man is in a moderate health condition and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
