The Criminal Investigation Department dealt with two hit and run incidents in Amman during the past 48 hours, announced the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Tuesday.

One of the cases occurred Monday in the Istiqlal street area, in which a juvenile was killed after being hit by a car.

The second case occurred Sunday in Ain Ghazal area, in which a public sanitation worker was run over by an unknown vehicle.

The worker is in stable health condition.

The Criminal Investigation Department was able to identify the two vehicles and the drivers.
