The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is currently following up a case where a 24-year-old Jordanian citizen was shot in the state of Indiana in the US, announced the ministry's spokesperson, Dhaifallah Al-Fayez Monday.

The citizen is in stable health condition, Fayez added.

The Jordanian embassy in Washington is working to provide all possible assistance, and communicate with local authorities to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
