Minister of Transport Marwan Khaitan is scheduled to participate Friday in the 75th general assembly of the Arab Bridge Maritime (ABM), which will be held in Cairo with his Egyptian and Iraqi counterparts.

The Ministry of Transport Thursday announced that the meeting will address the approval of ABM's planning budget for 2021 and the implications of the coronavirus crisis on the company's performance.

Khaitan will also discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation, facilitate trade movement and exchange goods with his Egyptian counterpart. He will also talk about the obstacles facing Jordanian exports to the Egyptian market.

The minister will also meet with his Iraqi counterpart to discuss facilitating Jordanian exports to the Iraqi market, in a way that serves the Jordanian transport sector's interests.
