The Minister of Labor and Minister of State for Investment Affairs Maen al-Qatamin Wednesday announced that Jordan will be allowing the recruitment of non-Jordanian domestic workers from Ghana, following the approval of the Minister of Interior.

Qatamin said the decision was made based on citizens' desire to hire Ghanian domestic workers. The recruitment process will follow official hiring procedures as well as other health and safety measures.
