Wednesday, the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in the House of Commons that 'a good deal is still there to be done' with the EU.
However, Johnson said no British leader could sign up to the demands the EU are “currently insisting on,” adding that while there is a trade deal to be done, the country would prosper without one.
“They are saying that the UK should be the only country in the world not to have sovereign control over its fishing waters. And I don’t believe that those are terms that any prime minister of this country should accept,” Johnson added.
