Sunday, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) said it has almost completed the construction of three pedestrian bridges on Queen Rania Street, also known as University Street, for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project which is meant to be completed by the end of 2021.

The bridges are equipped with elevators and escalators which were designed to make the bridges accessible to people with disabilities.

GAM said the pedestrian bridge, elevators and escalators are located at front of the main entrance of Jordan University and will serve students and pedestrian traffic at the site.
