Jordan welcomed the statement that were issued by the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah about the talks aimed at ending the Gulf crisis, and reaching a final agreement that achieves lasting solidarity and strengthens stability in the Arab Gulf region.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi Friday praised the great efforts led by His Highness the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the efforts currently led by His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to end the crisis and achieve Gulf solidarity.

Safadi also praised the US efforts aimed at ending the crisis.

Friday, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have committed to negotiations to resolve a dispute that has raged for more than three years. In June 2017, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt imposed a diplomatic, trade and travel boycott on Qatar, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism.
