Jordan has recorded 51 deaths and 3,116 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 234,353.
The death toll since the beginning of the crisis has risen to 2,960.
The cases are:
- 1,041 in Irbid, including 302 in Ramtha
- 888 in Amman
- 304 in Mafraq
- 211 in Jerash
- 116 in Karak
- 31 in Ajloun
- 26 in Tafilah
- 249 in Zarqa
- 168 in Balqa
- 47 in Madaba
- 27 in Ma'an, including 12 in Petra
- Eight in Aqaba
A total of 173 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 203 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 54,198 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 3,826 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 177,195.
There are 1,749 patients receiving treatment in hospitals, including 409 in the Intensive Care Units.
A total of 21,761 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,648,917.
Friday, 14.3 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
