Wednesday, Samir Ibrahim Mobaideen was sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II as the new Minister of Interior.

Mobaideen holds a Bachelor's degree in Law. 

Mobaideen’s professional positions are as follows:

• Minister of Interior (2018-2019).
• Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission in 2017.
• Secretary-General of the Ministry of Interior in 2014.
• Governor of Amman in 2009.
• Governor of Aqaba in 2006.
