Heavy snowfall is expected in the Kingdom this winter especially in Amman, said the Director of Operations at Arabia Weather Osama al-Tarifi Thursday.
Tarifi told Roya seasonal forecasts indicate that this winter is expected to be colder than usual, despite the high temperatures that the Kingdom witnessed during the summer. "After mid-January and during February 2021, there may be opportunities for snow, especially in Amman," he added.
Regarding the current air depression, Tarifi said the winter weather will continue Thursday with rain in Amman and central regions of the Kingdom.
Many regions of the Kingdom will witness the formation of fog, which will gradually subside.
The unstable weather conditions and wind will continue for the next three days.
