A Palestinian driver was killed Wednesday after he was shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces in Occupied East Jerusalem, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

PRCS said in a statement that IOF fired bullets at the man's car as it drove through an Israeli Occupation military checkpoint, leaving the driver dead.

The military checkpoint was immediately closed, the PRCS added.
