Wednesday, a slight drop in temperatures is expected, but moderate weather will prevail across the Kingdom with clouds at various altitudes and westerly moderate to brisk winds, announced the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

In the evening, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold air mass, and rainfall is expected in the northern, central and southwestern parts of the country, the JMD added.

The rainfall during the night hours is expected to be heavy, accompanied by lightning, and thunder causing floods in valleys and low-lying areas, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk.

The JMD also warned of slippery roads in different areas, in addition to poor visibility due to fog and dust in highlands and the Badia regions.

The temperature is expected to continue to drop into Thursday, but will stabilize Friday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 18 degrees Celsius in Amman, 13 degrees Celsius in the northern cities, and 17 degrees Celsius in the southern highlands. Warmer weather is expected in Aqaba.
