The price of selling and buying gold in Jordan decreased by JD 0.90 Tuesday, compared to rates Monday, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).

The selling price for 21-carat gold reached JD 37.20 per gram, while the purchase price reached JD 35.70.

The price of gold per gram in the 24-carat and 18-carat decreased to JD 44.70 and JD 33, respectively.

There are approximately 850 jewellers across Jordan worth at least JD 5 billion.
