Tuesday, Russia announced that its Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine is 95 percent effective according to a second interim analysis of clinical trial data.

The vaccine’s effectiveness reached 91.4 percent seven days after a patient received a second dose and reached 95 percent 21 days after the second dose.
