A man in his sixties drowned in Wadi al-Arab dam in North Shouneh Sunday, said the director of Moaz bin Jabal Hospital Ihsan Matalqa.

Civil defense employees attempted to rescue the man but he passed away before the ambulance arrived at the hospital's emergency department.

The body was transferred to the Northern Territory Forensic Center.
