David Nabarro, special envoy on COVID-19 at the World Health Organization (WHO) predicted Sunday a third wave of the coronavirus in Europe in early 2021. Nabarro said this might happen if governments do not take the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
“Now we have the second wave. If they don’t build the necessary infrastructure we’ll have a third wave early next year," Nabarro told Swiss newspapers.
Europe has been witnessing a huge increase in COVID-19 cases, as it has confirmed a total of 15,528,881 cases, according to Worldometers.
