Jordan ranks 39 in number of COVID-19 cases worldwide

Jordan ranked 39 globally in terms of COVID-19 deaths and cases, according to Worldometer Sunday.

A total of 108,353 recoveries have been recorded since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis in Jordan, announced the Ministry of Health Sunday. 

A total of 178,161 COVID-19 cases and 2,172 deaths have been recorded in the Kingdom since March.

Currently there are 67,636 active cases but only 2,133 are receiving treatment at Jordanian hospitals, 427 of which have been admitted to Intensive Care Units.

According to the ministry, 20.55 of PCR tests are coming back positive.

The Kingdom recorded 3,826 new COVID-19 cases and 56 deaths Saturday.
