Raed Zaghal, GM of McDonald’s Jordan, appointed as World Business Angels Investment Forum Senator

The World Business Angels Investment Forum, one of the largest global platforms in dealing with business, investments, and stocks, Saturday announced the appointment of Mr. Raed Al Zaghal, General Manager of McDonald’s Jordan, as the senator for Jordan at the Forum.

Mr. Zaghal will represent Jordan at the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum in all meetings and decisions, which will open new doors for future investment and businesses in Jordan, and double economic development opportunities locally.

Angels Investment Forum stated, “As an affiliated partner of the G20 Global Partnerships for
Financial Inclusion (GPFI), the WBAF supports start-ups, develops entrepreneurial ecosystems, and helps venture capital and companies connect with international companies, fin-techs and other relevant institutions.”

“We are confident about our contribution to the economic development of the country by facilitating connections with entrepreneurial ecosystems. We strongly believe that Jordan will soon become a country that can foster the development of its economy in a more entrepreneurial atmosphere.”

The G20 GPFI adopts global business development approaches with the aim of achieving global cooperation to empower economic development of the world by fostering innovative financial instruments for startups, scaleups, innovators, entrepreneurs and SMEs while promoting gender equality and women’s participation in all sectors of the world economy.

Zaghal expressed his gratitude for the international membership, saying, “I feel very proud to have obtained this membership as a representative of my beloved country through McDonald’s Jordan, the entity through which I gained my experience and was credited with this achievement.”

“It is part of our patriotic duty towards Jordan and its people to open new horizons for investment and economic development in which that falls within the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and we are all at the service of the Kingdom, each in his position.”

Zaghal has more than 24 years of experience within the executive management of fast-food
restaurants, strategic planning and business development. During his career, Zaghal has
also received many local and international awards.
