The price of selling and buying gold in Jordan increased by JD 0.10 Saturday, compared to rates Friday, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).

The selling price for 21-carat gold reached JD 38 per gram, while the purchase price reached JD 36.50.

The price of gold per gram in the 24-carat and 18-carat increased to JD 45.50 and JD 33.80, respectively.

There are approximately 850 jewellers across Jordan worth at least JD 5 billion.
